Teknaf, Bangladesh: A group of local people belonging to Lada village opened fired on refugees of the Lada camp today at about 5 p.m.
The locals with former refugee shed leaders, carrying locally manufactured shot guns barged into a garden in front of the camp and brick field from south side, fired on the refugees. Ten refugees were injured, said a refugee from the camp.

The locals fired again at the refuges in front of the police, said a local village official.

The injured refugees were sent to hospital, said a security personnel in Teknaf.
