Teknaf, Bangladesh: Rohingya refugees at Leda Camp have been facing problems from unhygienic conditions for more than two weeks since local villagers in the area blocked the drain which carries wastewater from the refugee camp.

Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazaar: A refugee boy drowned today at about 8 a.m. in a local fishing dam outside of Kutupalong Official Camp. The dam was made by local villagers who went to the forest to collect firewood, said the mother of the victim.

Teknaf, Bangladesh: A registered refugee woman from Kutupalong Camp was raped by a gang of local men at about 8 a.m. on March 24 while she was returning to the camp after collecting firewood from a nearby forest, according to a relative of the victim who declined to be named.

Ukhiya, Cox's Bazaar: A flag meeting was held between the Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) and Burma’s border security force (Nasaka) on March 24 at the zero line of the Burma-Bangladesh border at Taungbro with the aim of easing tensions about the barbed wire fence between the two countries, said an official of BGB.
