Teknaf, Bangladesh: The Fayazee Welfare Foundation (FWF), a local NGO  provided relief material to poor families at Nattaung Para of Teknaf, a border town of Bangladesh, today at about 1:00 pm, said our correspondent.

Rathedaung, Arakan State:  In unabated repression of the Rohingya community, two Rohingya youths hailing from Rathedaung Township, Arakan State, were fined for marrying on September 18, even though they married after receiving permission, said a relative of one of the victims.

Rathedaung, Arakan State: A man was arrested by Nasaka, Burma's security force while on his way home after praying in a mosque at about 9 pm on September 4.  He was picked up on the allegation that he went to a neighbours house , said a close relative of the victim.

Rathedaung, Arakan State: A man from Rathedaung Township has been detained since August for remarrying without permission from the authorities and was released only after he paid Kyat 100,000, said a friend of the victim on condition of anonymity.
