A group of Muslim migrants who escaped from Burma into Thailand have found their way to Indonesia. The migrants say the Thai military rounded them up and set them adrift on boats without motors.

The plight of Burmas Rohingya migrants is attracting international attention.

Two boatloads with around 400 migrants have washed up in Aceh Province, Indonesia.

Those on board say they were tortured or mistreated by the Thai military and were then rounded up and cast adrift at sea.

Indonesia has criticized Thailand's treatment of the Rohingya boat people.

The migrants are pushing for the issue to be addressed by ASEAN members at a meeting in Bali.
