The Burmese military junta has imparted basic military training to those, who had participated in basic fire fighting and basic public military training on December 19, in Maungdaw north, said a village authority member.

Kutupalong, Bangladesh:
A refugee girl died and five were injured in a landslide which occurred yesterday noon in the Kutupalong unregistered Arakanese Rohingya refugee camp, according to a camp committee member.

Teknaf, Bangladesh: Burma’s border security force (Nasaka) handed over five Bangladeshis to the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR), on December 19, following a flag meeting in Maungdaw Town between the two, said an aide of the BDR in Teknaf.
