Buthidaung, Arakan State: In the beginning of November, Burma’s border security force, Nasaka, ordered the villagers of Buthidaung Township to build their kitchens outside their houses to avoid fire hazards during winter and summer, a woman from Buthidaung Township, who declined to be named, said.

Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh: Sixteen fishermen have been missing in Bay of Bengal for a week after a fishing boat was attacked by pirates. The fishermen were tied with ropes and thrown into the sea, according to fisherman from Cox’s Bazaar.
