Maungdaw, Arakan State: Burma’s border security force, Nasaka, has been extorting money from Rohingya villagers of Maungdaw Township, by illegally accusing them of various false charges, said a local businessman.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: Burma’s border security force, Nasaka, extorted Kyat 500,000 from a parent due to his son’s death by a buffalo, while he was rearing cattle on November 29, a close relative of the victim said, on condition of anonymity.

Maungdaw, Arakan State : Burma ’s border security force’s (Nasaka’s) capricious arrest and extortion continues against the Arakanese Rohingya people in Maungdaw Township , notwithstanding international pressure on the ruling military junta, said a local schoolteacher on condition of anonymity.
