Maungdaw, Arakan State:
An Arakanese Rohingya boy was killed by a truck of the Army Engineer’s unit in Maungdaw yesterday at about 16:00 hour, said a local elder from Maungdaw.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: A religious leader was humiliated and was fined by Burma’s border security force, Nasaka’s collaborators yesterday while taking family group photographs in Maungdaw Township, Arakan State, said a close relative of the victim.

Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh: Arakanese Rohingyas are being forced to join the unregistered refugee camp of Kutupalong by authorities after arrest along the border and residential areas, where their security is uncertain, according to member of a NGO which works  in Teknaf.

Teknaf, Bangladesh: James F. Moriarty, the US ambassador to Dhaka visited Shapuri Dip in southern Bangladesh today, at about 10:30 am to oversee the construction of cyclone centers and to advice the concerned authorities, said a local official.

Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh: Police from the refugee camp providing security to UN sheltered refugees arrested seven Arakanese Rohingya refugees from Nayapara camp today, at about 1 pm, while they were going to the market, said a refugee.
