Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh: Five Arakanese Rohingya refugees were arrested by police on February 3, and sent to Cox’s Bazar jail while on their way to Cox’s Bazar from Nayapara camp to work, said a  relative of  one of  the arrested refugees who declined to be named.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: Sarapa (Military Intelligence) killed a Rohingya man after torturing him severely on January 4, in Maungdaw Town, Arakan State, after calling him to their office, according to a close relative of the victim on condition of anonymity.

An Arakanese Rohingya woman died after being given an overdose of medicine in the general hospital of Maungdaw, Arakan state on January 30, according to eyewitness in the hospital.
