Maungdaw, Arakan State: People in northern Arakan are suffering to a great extent due to flash floods caused by heavy rain with continuous downpour and tidal surge since July 17, according to sources in Maungdaw and Buthidaung north.

Kutupalong, Bangladesh: One unregistered refugee child was killed in torrential rain with strong winds followed by landslides, which destroyed more than 30 huts yesterday in the Kutupalong unregistered camp, said a refugee elder from the camp.
