Teknaf, Bangladesh: Teknaf land port earned 74,808,576 Taka including tax in July, the fist month of the 2011-12 fiscal year, through the boosting of two-way trade between Bangladesh and Burma, according to a customs official from Teknaf.

Teknaf, Bangladesh: A refugee from Nayapara official camp was robbed by local goons at the rear gate of the camp while he was trying to enter the camp at about 7 pm yesterday, said a close relative of the victim.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: The head of the Township Administration Office (TAO), formerly known as the Township Peace and Development Council (TPDC), U Aung Kyaw Oo, recently ordered the ward administration officer of Maungdaw town to provide him Kyat 2 million per month by any means, said one of the village Administration officer who declined to be named.
