Maungdaw, Arakan State: Two armed activists from Arakan were arrested by Nasaka , Burma 's Border Security Force on October 22, while crossing the Bangladesh-Burma border, according to a Nasaka aide from Taungbro.

Peletwa. Arakan State: Burma Army personnel of the Paletwa based Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 289 have forced hill tribes to pay money for a rally in support of the National Convention on October 18, said a tribe member in Paletwa.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: A Nasaka (Burma’s border security force) personnel was stabbed to death by a colleague in Auk Pruma village, Maungdaw Township in Arakan State, Burma on October 20. After consuming locally made alcohol in a wine shop they had got into an argument, said a local from Auk Pruma.
