Maungdaw, Arakan State: Nasaka Burma’s border security force distributed money and some equipment to the Natala (Model) villagers on February 2. Model villagers were brought over to Arakan State from Burma proper recently, said a close aide of Nasaka in Maungdaw Town.

Maungdaw, Arakan State:  A policeman of Maungdaw police station urinated in the compound of the central mosque in Maungdaw Town on February 12 at about 5 pm, after Asar prayers when there was nobody in the mosque.

Chittagong, Bangladesh: Speakers at a seminar on Wednesday said that the Rohingyas have been deprived of each and every right and have even become endangered as a race. The seminar on ‘Rohingya issue: national and international perspective’, organized by a research organization, Neeti Gobeshona Kendro, was held at the Chittagong University’s social science faculty’s conference room in the morning.
