Maungdaw, Arakan State : A Rohingya woman was released from Burma 's border security force (Nasaka) camp on July 22. She had been arrested and detained in the Nasaka camp in Maungdaw Township since July 20 for staying in her parent's house.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: An inspector of Maungdaw police station Nyi Nyi Lwin Soe tortured and killed a Rohingya businessman in custody on the night of July 21. He was picked up on suspicion of being involved in business with a man who fled with money from another businessman Noor Hussein, a Bangladeshi, said a relative of the victim on condition of anonymity.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: The World Food Program (WFP) has been distributing rice and salt to pregnant women, infants and children, who are under five years and malnourished in Maungdaw Township since yesterday, said a village elder from Bawli Bazaar on condition of anonymity.
